Check three things against the preview: the item count, the slide order and whether every video plays with sound.

Open the saved result and count the slides. The preview gave you an item count, and the file should match it exactly. Then scroll through them in order and compare against the live post in a browser tab: slide 1 should be the cover, the last one should be the final image, and a photo that appears at position 4 online should not be at position 6 on disk.

A social media manager archiving a campaign should also check each slide at full size: width and height in the file properties should match the dimensions listed in the preview, for example 1080 × 1350 for a portrait slide, and a video slide should report a duration close to the one shown. Play it for at least the first and last five seconds to catch truncation.

The usual mistake is checking only the cover. A carousel can contain a video in position 7 that failed to save or an item that was unavailable at the source, and you will only notice later. Write down the count and tick each slide off in a simple list before you delete anything.

Finally, open one image in a viewer and look for obvious problems such as the wrong crop, missing edges or heavy blur. If a slide differs from the live post, run the link again and make sure you picked the same quality option as before.
