Choose one of the options the service returns; Original quality is the default, and video slides may offer sizes such as 720p.

Each option shows its pixel size, a label and an estimated file size. A square photo slide is often 1080 × 1080 and a portrait slide 1080 × 1350, which is the 4:5 ratio, but the tool reports the real dimensions of your post, so trust the preview rather than these typical values. Original quality is the right choice for an archive or a re-edit; a lower video option makes sense only for a quick review copy.

Think of a freelance photographer saving her own twelve-slide travel carousel to re-crop for her portfolio site. She picks Original quality because every re-encode costs a little detail, and she accepts the larger estimated size. A colleague who only needs to send a draft to a client for comments picks the smaller video option instead.

The common mistake is assuming a particular resolution or item count in advance. Options vary by post and may change between visits, so read what is offered, compare the item count in the preview with what you need, and avoid promising a client a size you have not seen.

Tradeoff: bigger files take longer to prepare and the tool shows a progress bar and a cancel button while it works, and a source that is too large for the available limit is refused with a message to choose a smaller option. For a carousel of mostly photos that limit is rarely a problem, but a long video slide can reach it.
