Add logo watermark — free online tool

Brand a photo with your logo as a movable, resizable layer, opacity 10 to 100. PNG, WebP or SVG logos keep transparency; JPG logos bring a box.

OriginalChoose a logo image, then drag and resize it directly on the preview.

What to know

This page opens with the Choose logo button. The picture you select is added as an image layer near the lower right corner, about 5 percent in from the edges, and appears selected so that you can drag it, size it from a corner with proportions kept, and fade it with the Opacity slider between 10 and 100 percent.

The logo file decides how clean the result looks. A PNG, WebP or SVG with a transparent background lays down only the mark, whereas a JPG logo brings its background as a solid rectangle. If the logo is dark and the photo is dark where you want it, keep two logo files, a light one and a dark one, and pick whichever contrasts with that corner.

Size is a trade-off between credit and distraction. A logo around 10 to 20 percent of the image width in a corner is a common range for photography, and 40 to 60 percent opacity keeps it readable without taking over. Putting it across the subject makes it harder to crop out, but also spoils the picture, so that choice is yours.

Add text with the same page if you want a logo plus a URL, then order them with Send backward and Bring forward. The result is a flattened copy in the source format at quality 0.92 (PNG for AVIF or SVG input), so keep the unmarked original for other uses.

Quick answers

Which logo file format works best?

A PNG, WebP or SVG with a transparent background. A JPG logo places its background as a visible box over the photo.

How large should a logo watermark be?

Around 10 to 20 percent of the image width is common for a corner mark. Larger marks protect more but distract from the picture.

Can I add a website address under the logo?

Yes. Add a text layer on the same page, type the address and place it under the logo; both are baked in together on export.

Does the original photo get changed?

No. The tool produces a new flattened copy and leaves your original file untouched.
