What to know
This tool has nine sliders and one preview. Brightness and contrast run from 20 to 180 percent with 100 as neutral, saturation from 0 to 200, grayscale and sepia from 0 to 100, softness from 0 to 12 px, and warmth, shadows and highlights from -100 to 100 around zero. Changes appear after a 120 millisecond pause, and holding the original button shows the untouched image for comparison.
The sliders do not all work the same way. Brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale, sepia and softness use the browser filter chain, in that order. Warmth, shadows and highlights are a second pass over every pixel: warmth adds 0.42 times its value to red and subtracts the same from blue, so +50 gives red +21 and blue -21.
Shadows and highlights weigh each pixel by its luminance. Shadows apply 0.72 times the slider value times (1 - L) squared, where L is brightness from 0 to 1, so +50 on a dark pixel with L = 0.2 lifts every channel by about 23 while a bright pixel barely moves. Highlights use L squared instead, which is why they affect only the bright end.
The result keeps the source format at quality 0.92 and falls back to PNG for AVIF or SVG. Typical jobs are rescuing an underexposed photo, cooling an orange indoor shot, flattening a scan to grayscale, or softening a texture before using it as a background.

Quick answers
What is the difference between Brightness and Shadows?
Brightness multiplies every pixel by the same factor, so highlights clip early. Shadows adds light mostly to dark pixels, so bright areas stay close to where they were.
What does Softness do and how strong can it be?
It applies a blur of 0 to 12 pixels to the whole image. It is a blur in pixels of the image, so the same value looks stronger on a small picture than on a large one.
Does Sepia or Grayscale at 100 remove color permanently?
In the exported copy yes, because it is baked in. Your original file is untouched and the original button shows it before you apply.
Can I adjust several images with the same settings?
Images queue up to 12, but each one is processed with the settings currently shown, so set the sliders, apply, then move on to the next.
