What to know

The color tools cover three jobs. Clicking a point on a loaded picture reads that single pixel and shows it as an uppercase HEX code and as rgb(r, g, b), each with a copy button. The palette extractor lists up to 8 representative swatches, and the HEX to RGB converter works from a typed code without any image at all.

The converter starts on #6D28D9, which reads as rgb(109, 40, 217). It accepts a six-digit code with or without the hash sign, and also the three-digit shorthand, which it expands by doubling each digit: #6D3 becomes #66DD33. A native color picker sits beside the text field, and an invalid string is flagged instead of guessed.

Use the image picker when the source is a screenshot, a photo or a logo file and you need the real value instead of eyeballing it. Use the palette when you want a quick set of dominant colors for a theme. Use the converter when a design file hands you a HEX code and a style sheet or a chart tool wants RGB.
