Download Xiaohongshu note — free online tool

Download a public Xiaohongshu note whatever its type: a picture note as a ZIP of its photos or a video note as MP4, with the type shown in the preview.

What to know

Use the note page when you have a link and do not know whether the note is a gallery or a video. The preview resolves it: a gallery shows an image size and an item count, and a video note shows a duration and MP4 rows with audio formats.

The note address uses a hexadecimal ID after /explore/ or /discovery/item/, or a short link from xhslink.com, xhsurl.com or xhs.cn. For a picture note the service parses the note data embedded in the public page and takes the default-quality version of each picture, which is why the sizes come from the first picture only.

A picture note with, say, nine photos arrives as one ZIP of nine files, in the order the creator arranged them. The title shown in the preview is the note title or, when there is none, the start of the description. The long caption itself is not saved.

Notes are often reviews, outfit lists, recipes and travel guides, whose value lies in the creator’s own photographs and words. Archiving them to plan a trip is one use; copying a guide’s pictures into your own app or store listing is another that needs the creator’s written permission.

Quick answers

How do I know whether my note is a picture note or a video note?

The preview card says Image or Video. An image note shows a count of pictures when there are several, and a video note shows a duration.

Does the ZIP keep the order of the photos?

Yes. The pictures are listed in the sequence they have in the note, so the first file is the cover image.

Is the caption text included in the download?

No. The title is used only for the preview card, and the caption stays on the note page.
