GOM Mix has a Free Trial Download button on its product page, so you can install the real editor and cut your own footage first. A trial is the sensible way to judge a video editor, because speed on your machine matters as much as the feature list.
Open a project and put your usual clips on the timeline. Try one of the 61 templates, test the 124 caption presets on a title, and add a sticker or a chroma-key shot to see how the effects respond on your hardware.
Check the basics before you install. GOM Mix runs on Windows 10 (64-bit) or later, wants 8 GB of RAM or more and needs an internet connection for licence verification, so it will not run fully offline.
If you keep it, the permanent licence is a one-time $29.00 for 1 PC at a time, with AI Subtitles included. Anyone who also wants image generation, upscaling or video generation can look at GOM Easy Pass at $9.99 a month instead.
For plain playback with no editing, the free GOM Player needs no trial at all and runs on Windows and Mac.

Where do I get the GOM Mix trial?
Use the Free Trial Download button on the GOM Mix product page at gomlab.com. GOM Cam and GOM Player+ show the same button on their own pages.
How long does the trial last?
The product page does not state a length or a list of limits, so read the terms shown in the installer before relying on it for client work.
Do I need an account to try it?
The product page does not say. It does state that some functions, such as licence key verification, need an internet connection.
Can I switch from the trial to a permanent licence?
The Buy button sits next to the trial button on the same page. The permanent licence is $29.00 once, for 1 PC at a time.
