A LoRa radio is built for one band family, and the antenna has to match. Meshnology lists its antennas and some devices as 868 MHz or 915 MHz variants, and the Mesh Pocket M1 as 863-870 MHz or 902-928 MHz.

The Meshtastic documentation lists region settings with their ranges. The United States uses 902-928 MHz, Australia and New Zealand 915-928 MHz, Japan 920.5-923.5 MHz, Korea 920-923 MHz, Taiwan 920-925 MHz and India 865-867 MHz.

The European 868 setting is much narrower: 869.4-869.65 MHz with a 27 dBm power limit and a 10% duty cycle. There is also an EU 433 MHz setting at 433-434 MHz.

You must set the region in the app before the node transmits, and every device in one mesh has to share the same Region and Modem Preset. Local law applies, so use the official table as a guide and check your own rules.

Buy the hardware that matches your band first, then apply NEWMESH15 or MESH010 at checkout.
