Clear pimples and marks without flattening the skin

The most common failure in skin retouching is erasing blemishes and ending up with a face smoothed like flour. Retouch4me Heal is described as targeting small defects only: blemishes, pimples, post-acne marks and enlarged pores. Instead of covering problem spots, it keeps the original skin texture.

The comparison photo makes the difference clear. On the left, the forehead and cheeks are shiny and a small spot shows on the cheek. On the right the shine has settled and the tone is even, yet the brows, lashes and strands of hair are unchanged.

The plugin finds skin on its own, so there is no mask to draw, and on a group shot with many faces one click handles everyone. For shine and tone, combine it with other plugins such as Mattifier and Skin Tone for a cleaner finish.

Heal on its own is a $145 perpetual licence and currently carries 20% off. If your computer is the worry, Cloud Retouch starts at $0.10 per photo, so you can gauge your volume first.

FAQ

Does it remove post-acne marks and moles too?

Heal finds blemishes, pimples, post-acne marks and enlarged pores. Features you want to keep, such as a mole, can be restored by lowering the layer opacity.

Will skin look over-smoothed?

Per the official description, defects are not covered with smooth patches and the original texture stays.

Does it handle shine as well?

Shine is the job of Mattifier, which spots glossy areas on the face. Heal focuses on blemishes and pores.
