Dodge and burn portraits, delivered as a Soft Light layer

Dodge and burn means brushing light and dark onto a face bit by bit to refine its shape. It is high-end work, and even experienced retouchers spend a long time on a single frame, so it becomes the heaviest step once deliveries pile up. Retouch4me Dodge&Burn performs it automatically.

The official page lists what it handles: nasolabial folds, eye bags, skin texture, veiny hands and feet, and unflattering shadows and highlights. Like a human retoucher, it lightens or darkens only the places that need it, so the face does not turn flat.

The output option is the most useful part. You can export the result as a Soft Light layer and edit without touching the original. In the layer list on screen, D&B sits as its own layer, so if the effect feels strong you simply lower its opacity.

It works on group shots in a single run. Each plugin is a perpetual licence, bought once and kept, and it is 20% off at the moment. Try the demo on your own photos before you decide.
