The Crokinole set you can pack for a trip
About 4 kg, 52 cm of playing surface, and still a Woodestic glide.
- 30-day money-back trial on every set
- 97-year guarantee on every board
- Travel Set from $409, shipped by DHL
The Travel Set is about 20 percent smaller than the Tournament board. The playing surface measures 52 cm across, the whole board is 61 cm, it stands 3.5 cm tall and it weighs roughly 4 kg, a fraction of the 10 kg tournament version.
The smaller size does not change how it plays. The surface is sanded and polished by hand, and the plant-based gliss powder keeps discs sliding quickly and quietly, free of chemicals.
The ditch is covered in faux leather, which softens the sound of a disc dropping in. That matters on a picnic blanket or a hotel table where a loud clatter would be noticed.
You choose the board wood (steamed beech, cherry or walnut), the colour of the leather and up to four disc colours. The matching discs are the Crokinole Mini discs, so keep that in mind if you are buying spares.
The set costs $409 and carries the same 30-day trial and 97-year guarantees as the larger boards. If it does not suit your car boot or your weekends, you can return it complete in the box.
