Verified sellers: how Ticombo checks who sells

The first worry with resale tickets is who is on the other end. Ticombo gives every seller one of four levels, shown as a badge you can read before you buy.

A Verified Seller has a confirmed email address and phone number. A Trusted Seller has added points from earlier sales, good reviews and quick replies.

An Official Seller has direct links to teams or event organizers, issues tickets through the official system and can often put the buyer's name on the ticket. An Official Organizer sells first-hand tickets straight from the organizer or team.

Ticombo also runs KYC checks on seller backgrounds, and for selected events it works with organizers to verify tickets. A seller proven to be dishonest can be fined, banned or even prosecuted.
