Roblox Game Developer is for kids who spend hours in Roblox and want to build rather than only play. Nobody needs to have opened Roblox Studio before.
Across 40 lessons they work in 3D, handling space, materials and lighting, and write Lua scripts with variables, functions and conditions. The step from visual blocks to typed code is gradual, which also prepares them for Python or C# later.
One less obvious topic is the game economy. Students look at how Robux purchases work, then create Game Passes and achievements, picking up some financial literacy on the way. Teamwork gets its turn too, as groups split roles and build a large adventure together.
