DemoAir runs as a Chrome extension, so there is nothing to download before you start. It records on-screen activity along with webcam footage and a voice track, and the online version also works in Firefox, Safari, Opera and Edge.
While you record, an annotation bar and drawing tools sit on screen, and cursor highlighting makes it easier for a viewer to follow the pointer. That suits quick walkthroughs, bug reports and support replies.
Once you stop, the recording is stored in the cloud and DemoAir generates a link you can send. You can also convert it to MP4 before exporting if the recipient needs a file.
Chromebook users get the same extension, and Slack, GitHub and Google Classroom each have a guide for posting recordings. If you later want longer, 4K recordings, the DemoCreator desktop app is the next step, and code MENDAAF is there at checkout.
