Questions that follow your itinerary

The claim form asks whether the trip was direct or had a transfer, then which flights in the itinerary were disrupted. Those answers decide the distance band, so the amount is judged on the whole journey and not on one leg.

Every passenger on the booking counts

Every passenger on the booking counts

Compensation is a right of each traveller, so a family of four can each file. It does not matter whether you, an employer or a friend bought the ticket, or whether it was paid for with airline bonus points.

Lennuabi deals with the airline for you

Lennuabi takes over the correspondence with the carrier and, if the airline refuses, represents you in court. The list of airlines it has taken on runs from Ryanair and Lufthansa to Emirates and Delta.

Delays, cancellations and overbooking

A flight that lands 3 hours or more late, is cancelled with less than 14 days notice or leaves you behind through overbooking can qualify. Payouts run from €250 on short routes to €600 beyond 3,500 km.

FAQ

How much does Lennuabi charge?

The standard service fee is 39.7% and applies only to successful claims. If legal proceedings are needed to collect, the fee is 50%, and if nothing is recovered you owe nothing.

How much can one passenger receive?

Between €250 and €600 for a one-way journey, depending on the distance flown, the length of the delay and other factors. Layovers are not added up: a single flight means one start point and one final destination.

Which flights are covered?

Flights within the EU, plus departures to and from the EU on an airline based there. Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, the Canary Islands, Madeira, the Azores and several French overseas territories are also included.

How long does a claim take?

Lennuabi says a claim is usually reviewed in 1 to 2 business days. The full process, until money reaches you, runs from 1 to 7 months depending on the airline and the case.

Can another company handle the same claim at once?

No. Once a claim is assigned to someone else, Lennuabi cannot represent you for it, and the terms you accept when signing say the same.

Does it cover lost or damaged luggage?

No, baggage claims are not handled. Lennuabi suggests keeping the boarding pass and baggage tags and reporting damage within 7 days.
