For a ride to the airport you set the time yourself, because Kiwitaxi collects you at the hotel at the hour you state rather than guessing from your flight. The booking page shows the approximate ride duration to help.
The recommended method is simple: take your departure time, subtract the ride time, and subtract another 3 hours for airport check-in. A 14:00 flight with a one-hour ride therefore means a 10:00 pickup at reception.
Hotel pickups include 15 minutes of waiting from the time in the order, much shorter than the 90 minutes on arrivals, so be in the lobby on time. The driver will be waiting in reception and your dispatcher's number arrives by e-mail the day before.
Early-morning departures are the classic case for pre-booking when no ride-hailing car is around. Standard classes can be ordered 16 hours ahead, changes can be made in your personal account up to 24 hours before, and anything later goes through support.

What time should I enter for a hotel pickup?
The time you want to be met at reception. Calculate it as flight departure minus ride duration minus about 3 hours for check-in.
How long will the driver wait at the hotel?
15 minutes from the time stated in the order are included. Longer waits can incur an extra fee.
Can I change the time after booking?
Yes, in your personal account at least 24 hours before the trip. Closer to departure, contact support, though a late change may be declined.
