Reading in your strongest language is easier, and reading in a second one is good practice. Headway serves summaries in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Japanese, Czech, Romanian and Hungarian, so both cases are covered.
To change the app language, open Settings inside the app and pick App language. On some operating system versions that option is missing, in which case the app follows the overall language set on your phone.
Mixing languages is a quiet way to study. Pair an English summary of a book you already know with the Spanish one, or the other way around, and the vocabulary comes with context. The Play listing also suggests turning key concepts and new words into flashcards for recall.
The same features work in every language: text and audio, offline downloads, streaks and recaps. A yearly plan includes a 7-day trial, and once you sign in with one email your account moves between phone, web and Mac.
