Prescription sunglasses with your own lens numbers

Sunglasses at Glasseslit can be filled with your prescription, so one frame covers both sight correction and sun. You choose Prescription Sunglasses from the shop menu or a sunglasses frame on any category page.

Solid tints in pink, red, yellow, grey, blue, green, purple and brown come in 20%, 50% and 80% darkness at $15.95. Gradient tints are $19.95. Polarized lenses are listed at $52.95 and photochromic at $49.95.

A banner in the store lists up to 50% off sunglasses, a hard case and a microfiber cloth with each pair. If you wear glasses daily, magnetic clip-ons are another way to get sunglasses over an existing frame.

Tinted, polarized and photochromic lenses are made in the longest production group, 7 to 15 business days extra, before shipping.

FAQ

Can I put my prescription in sunglasses?

Yes. The store lists prescription sunglasses as a category and lets you type your numbers on the product page.

What is the difference between tinted and polarized?

Tints add color and darkness at a fixed level. Polarized lenses are a separate option, priced higher on the product page.

Do photochromic lenses darken in the sun?

The store says photochromic lenses change from light to dark with the amount of ultraviolet light.
