Korea weekly paid holiday calculator
Estimate Korean weekly paid-holiday pay: hourly wage x min(weekly hours, 40) / 40 x 8, for 15+ hours a week. 10,000 won at 20 hours gives 40,000.

For Korea: this estimate applies the proportional weekly paid-holiday formula for an eligible worker with at least 15 average scheduled hours in a week and completed scheduled workdays. It does not determine every employment-law exception.
What to know
This page estimates the paid weekly rest-day allowance known in Korea as juhyu-suldang. The formula is allowance = hourly wage x paid holiday hours, where paid holiday hours = min(scheduled weekly hours, 40) / 40 x 8.
Worked examples at an hourly wage of 10,000: 20 scheduled hours give 20 / 40 x 8 = 4 paid hours, so 40,000, while 40 hours give the full 8 paid hours and 80,000. 15 hours give 3 hours and 30,000, and 45 hours are capped at 40 in the formula, so they also give 8 hours and 80,000.
Two conditions must be met or the page shows Not estimated. The scheduled weekly hours must be 15 or more, and the tick box saying you completed the scheduled workdays this week must be ticked. A week with an unexcused absence therefore returns no allowance.
It handles one week of one wage. Monthly totals, overtime, mixed hourly rates, weeks that start or end employment and every labour-law exception are out of scope. Treat the figure as an estimate and check the employment contract or the labour office for edge cases.

Quick answers
Why does 14 hours a week show Not estimated?
The page requires at least 15 scheduled hours per week. Below that threshold it reports the eligibility line instead of an amount.
Do 45 hours a week produce more than 40?
No. Hours above 40 are capped in the formula, so the paid holiday time stays at 8 hours.
What if I missed a scheduled day?
Untick the completion box. The page then returns no allowance for that week, in line with the full-attendance condition.
Does it give a monthly figure?
No. It covers a single week. Multiply by the number of qualifying weeks yourself.
