Annual salary to monthly income
Divide an annual gross income into 12 equal months. Example: 36,000,000 a year is 3,000,000 a month before tax and insurance.

Formula estimate only. Rates, taxes, and legal rules vary by jurisdiction.
What to know
This page has one input, Annual gross income, and one core output, Monthly gross income. The formula is monthly = annual / 12, so 36,000,000 becomes 3,000,000, 48,000,000 becomes 4,000,000 and 50,000 becomes 4,166.67 in a two-decimal currency.
The result is the same twelfth whatever the length of the month, and it is not a take-home figure. Income tax, pension contributions, health and employment insurance and local taxes are all outside the calculation, so the amount that lands in a bank account will be lower.
Pay structure matters for how to read the number. If an advertised annual salary already includes bonuses or severance, the monthly average includes them too, which can be higher than the actual regular monthly paycheck. Only one of 12 equal payments is assumed.
The default currency follows the page language (KRW for Korean, JPY for Japanese, CNY for Chinese, EUR for Spanish and USD for English), and it can be switched. Switching changes the symbol and decimal places only, as the division is identical.
If you want a weekly view instead, divide the annual figure by 52, and for a daily view by the working days you actually have. The page stops at the monthly step, so 36,000,000 a year is 3,000,000 a month and about 692,308 a week by this extra hand step.

Why is my payslip lower than this monthly figure?
This is gross pay. Withholding tax, pension and insurance premiums are deducted before the payment reaches you.
Does the page assume a 13th-month salary?
No. It simply divides by 12. If your contract pays 13 instalments, divide by 13 yourself.
What is 60,000 USD a year per month?
5,000 USD gross, since 60,000 / 12 = 5,000.
