A kettle heats tap water. The M6H filters it first through seven stages and then heats it, so the water going into your tea or coffee has already passed a 0.0001 micron RO membrane.
Temperature choices are preset for common jobs: 113°F for baby formula, 149°F for tea, 185°F for coffee and 203°F for oatmeal, plus room temperature for plain drinking. Waterdrop says hot water is ready in seconds with no waiting for a tank to warm up.
The one-touch panel sets temperature and volume together, and a favorite mode saves your usual combination for later. The volume steps run 4, 8, 16 and 20 oz, with a max setting for a full pitcher.
The M6 line also has other members. The M6HG adds minerals and the M6CG gives hot and cold with minerals, so pick the H if you want plain pure hot water.
On price, the M6HG listing shows $70 off, and the M6H carries its own price cut. Both come with a 1-year warranty.
