A mid-drive motor sits at the cranks, which keeps weight low and centred. TTGO's Z5 and C7 SE both use it, with a peak torque of 75 N·m and a torque sensor that reads your pedalling effort.
Both carry a 648 Wh battery. TTGO lists a maximum range of 110 to 130 km for the Z5 and 140 km for the C7 SE, depending on terrain, speed and rider weight.
The Z5 comes in grey, blue, white or brown on 27.5 inch all-terrain tyres and takes loads up to 125 kg.
Z5 is listed at 1,299 euros. Code ttgo lowers that to 1,234.05 euros, and shipping is free.
Both frames have a low step-through shape, which helps when you stop often in city traffic.
