ZEN X is the step up from Sitpack 2.0. It is a one-legged portable stool with a Y-shaped frame that holds a hammock-style seat, and Sitpack says it unfolds in 5 seconds.
The close-up shows where the three arms meet at the leg, with rivets at the hinge and a steel clamp ring lower down. One version has a black anodized aluminium leg, the other a woven carbon fibre one.
Materials are listed as an aircraft-grade aluminium frame and an Oxford 600D ripstop nylon seat. A built-in storage pocket is part of the seat.
The aluminium model is $109 and the carbon fibre model is $169 on the US store. ZEN X ships worldwide, and code AD15 gives 15% off for Australia, Germany, the UK, Japan and the US.
