FAQ

Is the Saily app free?

Yes, you download the app for free and pay only for the plan you choose. The official site lists Spain, Italy, France, Turkey, Portugal and the Netherlands from US$3.99, and Greece, the UK and Germany from US$4.49.

When does my plan start?

It switches on automatically when you arrive at your destination, or 180 days after purchase if that comes first. Most devices need the eSIM line and data roaming turned on after installation.

Can I keep my own phone number?

Yes, a data-only plan leaves your regular number untouched. For calls and texts you can add a US number or use internet calling apps such as WhatsApp or Signal.

Can I share data through a hotspot?

Yes, switch on your phone's personal hotspot to share the connection with a laptop or tablet. Several devices drain the allowance faster, so size the plan with that in mind.

What happens when the data runs out?

Data stops until you add more. Turning on auto top-up or choosing the Ultra unlimited plan avoids the gap.

How do I know my phone supports eSIM?

Most recent smartphones do. The eSIM compatibility checker on the Saily site tells you for your exact model.
