Add refer-a-friend to your WooCommerce store

To open a refer-a-friend program on WooCommerce, start by searching for the plugin in your WordPress admin and installing it. Paste your Tapfiliate account ID into the new settings menu, switch on WooCommerce tracking and the connection is done.

Each order is recorded with its product SKUs, order subtotal and coupon codes. Rewards are worked out from the subtotal with taxes, shipping and native discounts stripped out, so margins are not cut by accident.

Rates can differ by product category or individual SKU, higher on thick-margin items and lower on thin ones. If you run WooCommerce Subscriptions for memberships or subscription boxes, renewal payments can be attributed too.

Turning on the coupon integration maps a checkout discount code to a partner, so referrals register without a link. All of this can be tried first inside the 7-day Launch or 14-day Scale trial.
