Trousers delivered with the length already set

A suit that is half an inch too long looks worse than one that is a size too big. That is why Rowe and Taylor leaves the trouser inseam unfinished and offers hemming at checkout.

The service comes in two styles. A plain hem is $10 USD, or $12 CAD, and gives a clean straight finish for formal wear. A cuffed hem is $12 USD, or $15 CAD, and adds weight at the opening, which suits flannel and tweed.

Hemming takes five to seven business days before the order ships, and US orders with alterations are quoted at eight to ten business days for processing.

The rear view shows the button-through jetted pocket and the straight fall of the leg, which is the line you are hemming to. Wear your dress shoes when you measure.

One caution from the store itself: hemmed trousers become final sale. If this is your first order, try the trousers on first and hem them later.
