A car route can send a motorhome under a bridge it will not clear. Roadtrippers has an RV-Friendly setting where you enter height and weight, and the app uses them to avoid vehicle hazards.
The settings screen asks for height, weight and whether you carry propane. Measurements should include towables, attachments, cargo and accessories present while driving, so measure the whole setup.
Propane on Board steers the route away from areas with strict propane restrictions. Roadtrippers notes that vehicle safety support and propane restriction support are only available in the U.S.
RV GPS and overnight RV parking are listed under the Premium plan, along with live traffic and offline maps, which matter in areas with weak signal. Premium is $59.99 a year and holds 150 stops per trip.
