Encrypted cloud storage for private files

pCloud Encryption works in a dedicated Crypto folder. Anything you drop into it is encrypted on your own device before it uploads, so the server only ever holds scrambled data.

That is what pCloud calls zero-knowledge privacy: the type, contents and size of your files are visible only to you. You create a Crypto Pass of at least 8 characters, and pCloud says it does not store that password.

The honest trade-off is that nobody can reset a forgotten Crypto Pass, which is why the setup screen offers an optional hint.

Encryption is sold as its own lifetime add-on, currently listed at $150. Everything outside the Crypto folder still benefits from TLS/SSL transfer and 256-bit AES protection.
