Cut yourself out of a video without a green screen

Media.io's video background remover uses automatic face recognition to separate the person in a clip from whatever is behind them. That means a spare bedroom or a hotel desk can stand in for a studio, with no green screen on the wall.

The flow is short: upload a video from your drive, wait while the AI works, then download the result without a visible drop in quality. Because it is a web tool, there is nothing to install and no keying settings to tune.

Once the background is gone you can place a new one behind the subject. Gaming streamers drop a webcam reaction over gameplay, presenters step in front of their own slides, and travel vloggers put themselves in front of footage from the trip.

Creators who want action-movie style composites can layer a cut-out actor over a different scene as well. Media.io is running half off its yearly plan at the moment, and the cut-out step repeats across a whole series, so a longer plan suits channels that publish weekly.
