A personalized card is a prepaid Visa or Mastercard whose front carries your photo and an embossed message. People often choose a family picture, a pet or a hand-drawn design.
Any amount from $10 to $250 is valid, including numbers between the round ones. The finished card works across the US and the District of Columbia wherever Visa debit or Debit Mastercard is accepted.
Image rules are strict. Uploads should be at least 640 by 480 pixels in jpg, gif or png, and the review rejects third-party logos, celebrities, cartoons, phone numbers, URLs and anything that could confuse a merchant.
Plan the design before paying. Once a personalized card is issued the picture and message cannot be edited, and a problem with the custom art can also delay the order.
Because the card is made to order, it ships like other plastic cards. Orders are typically processed in 24 to 72 hours and then travel by USPS or UPS.

What image size works best?
At least 640 x 480 pixels, as a jpg, gif or png file.
Can I change the photo after ordering?
No. Once the card has been issued the image or message cannot be changed.
Where can it be used?
Wherever Visa debit or Debit Mastercard is accepted in the US, except online gambling, adult sites and money-transfer services.
Can it pay a monthly bill?
No, personalized cards cannot be used for recurring payments.
