Behind a desk there are usually a monitor, a lamp and a printer, plus three chargers. A strip with six earthed sockets and four built-in USB ports puts all of that on one cable.
Three USB-A ports support Quick Charge 3.0, and the fourth is a USB-C Power Delivery port for faster iPhone charging. Power is shared automatically across the USB ports, up to 36 W in total.
Contacts are made of a copper alloy and the body of fire-resistant plastic that tolerates up to 850°C. Child-safety shutters, grounding and surge protection are built in.
A switch and an LED indicator make it easy to cut power at night. The strip can also be mounted on a wall to free the desk.
The 5% first-order saving applies to this strip as well.
