Days lived calculator
Days since birth as today minus birth date, with the birth day counted as zero. Example: 2000-01-01 to 2025-01-01 is 9,132 days lived.

What to know
This page counts the whole days between a Birth date and today on your device. The formula is days lived = round((today - birth) / 86,400,000 ms), so the birth day itself is day 0, and the result is clamped at 0 or above.
Worked examples: 2000-01-01 to 2025-01-01 gives 9,132 days, which equals 25 years x 365 plus 7 leap days. A birth date of 1990-06-01 gives 12,784 days on 2025-06-01. If you prefer the day of birth as day 1, add 1 to the displayed number.
The counter is popular for milestone days. To find the date of the 10,000th day, take the birth date and add 10,000 on the add-days page: for 2000-01-01 that is 2027-05-19. Adding 9,999 instead gives the date if birth day is counted as day 1.
The birth date must not be after today, otherwise the page shows an error and no number. The count moves by one each time the date on your device changes, which makes it handy for a daily check.
People also use it for pets, companies and projects: any start date works as a Birth date, and the count of days since 2020-03-15 behaves exactly like a person born then.

Quick answers
When is my 10,000th day?
Open the add-days page, use your birth date as the start date and add 10,000. For a birth on 2000-01-01 the answer is 2027-05-19.
Is the day of birth included?
No. It is day 0, so a baby born today has lived 0 days. Add 1 for a count that starts at day 1.
Why 9,132 days for exactly 25 years?
25 x 365 = 9,125, plus 7 leap days (2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024) makes 9,132.
Does the time of birth matter?
No. Only the calendar dates are used, so hours and minutes are ignored.
