Engraving a cat design on a coloured board

1Cut at 40 W, engrave at 20 W

Switch between 40 W and 20 W, and adjust the spot between 0.1 and 0.15 mm. At 40 W it cuts 20 mm plywood and 6 mm dark acrylic in one pass, and a heat-pipe radiator spreads the heat evenly.

2Linear guide, 0.01 mm accuracy

An all-metal frame with an industrial linear guide on X and adaptive wheels on Y gives 0.01 mm motion accuracy. Spare metal pillars raise it to engrave taller objects.

3Layers of safety

Tilt past 15° and it alarms and stops the laser; a flame sensor that triggers at 60 °C stops it and moves the head to a safe spot. There’s also an emergency stop, a child lock, limit switches and a protective cover.
