A Class 1 enclosed laser engraver that’s ready out of the box. Its 12 W 455 nm diode laser works a 400 × 320 mm area at up to 600 mm/s, with a camera and air assist as standard.
The closed body contains heat, smoke and noise, and the cover filters up to 99 % of harmful laser light. It has a safety lock, an emergency stop and a Hall sensor, and the laser shuts off when the lid opens. Twin fans exhaust the smoke.
The 12 W laser with a 0.04 × 0.06 mm spot cuts 6 mm wood and 5 mm black acrylic in a single pass, and the CoreXY frame moves smoothly at up to 600 mm/s.
The built-in camera lines up your material, and USB or Wi-Fi connects it to the free Sculpfun Space software. A rotary, riser base, IR module and the SP1 smoke purifier can be added separately.
